The Priest took a break from Homily

In a usual Catholic mass ceremony, the priest should be the one doing the homily and making the speech about the God news of good.
Turns out, he had a substitute and took every one by surprised. Of course, after that every one started falling asleep because he wasn't very entertaining
. But I did listen to it as far as I did. If it weren't for that pretty student beside me I would have fallen off 
but seriously it was a boring speech.
Not the first time I've heard boring speeches but this one nearly put me to sleep.

I've experienced both before - having a 'second' priest do the sermon aside from the official officiating priest and nearly fall asleep because of a boring talk!

@Letranknight2015 probalby a priest in training. Not sure how they call them though. Was this during a regular mass or one of those dawn masses?

Well, that is why I sleep an hour before preparation to attend mass @JudyEv so that I won't be sleepy on the church.
