I was wondering, with everything going on with Mom, if we were going to do our normal get together with our former neighbors on Christmas Eve.
It turns out that we are, and that they are bringing dinner. I hope that Mom is feeling even better than she seems to be now by then.
That means that I have to be sure and get more gifts wrapped tomorrow--just seems like everything has been so full of activity lately.

I'm sure it will be good for your mother that an old tradition is continuing. She will feel that everything is 'normal' despite the events of the recent past.
