I went to my oncologist with a lot of exams, more than the usual. I had a CT scan of my whole body plus the several blood tests. The oncologist pronounced me "in complete remission" and said I shoul take out the catheter that goes to one of my main veins. That was used for the chemotherapy. So, as it seems, unless someone hits me on the head during a mob, I have a sort of life pass for 6 more months. Then I will have to go to the oncologist again. I came home so tired that I slept 4 hours and did not even hear when Leticia went home. I wanted to share this with you, dear friends

@msiduri Ever since cancer hit my life (first took my father, then my husband and finally my grandson) I became what I call a survivor. I celebrate life every day.

Right and right. Tired and relieved. I think that when these tensions go away you notice that you are quite stressed.

@marguicha Yes I thought that I was going to have to move home yet again and pretty quick and they were getting to me on a certain level. However I had my own way and said a big No to them. How´s that then a big No now I feel much better (wink). You keep going with that good feeling hugs.

That's great news. I can understand what you are going through. I have a sister who is a cancer survivor and she had undergone chemotherapy for 8 sessions and that was over 5 years ago. She is due for regular medical check-up every six (6) months. Her doctor is in another city wherein she has to go there by boat which travel overnight from the place where she lives. During the first years after her chemotherapy was finished, she was on medical check-up every 3 months then after that she only goes to her doctor every 6 months.

Yes! I think that part of the reason of the long nap was that I did not sleep well last night. I was worried.
