Suddendeath poetry Challenge: sounds like

December 24, 2016 1:26am CST
Welcome to this weekend’s Suddendeath poetry challenge, Sounds Like! Anyways, rules are as follows, write a poem in any style using the five words that I give you. Write it in one sitting or in under an hour (only to quash your inner editor, rules are loose there). Add it here, OR link in a comment so we can enjoy each other’s' poems. The words can be in any plurality or tense. Today’s words are: hark, bells, chorus, joyful, noise My entry is always, below: --------------------------------------------------------------------- Hark a sound, drifting on the wind. Bells a calling, music to blend. Chorus of singers, making joyful noise. Singing their hearts out, with varying poise. Sound is the language, of the universe. Creating and changing, ways for gods to converse. Sound, noise, and music, it's gift be unfurled. One thing that binds us, stretching across the world.

@Jessicalynnt I'm trying to fit it in with the sound of the sea, which is what I'm listening to right now.

@Jessicalynnt Yes it was. Since I was up early myself today, and I'm starting to run on fumes since I did not take a nap, I was surprised to already see it there. We were both a couple of early birds today. I know I will be again tomorrow. Hopefully not that early though.

@Jessicalynnt very much so - we don't need to know what the song or tune are about to appreciate it

@arthurchappell I think too that often the emotional response's cross cultural bounds as well
