I thought Christmas afternoon 1:30 pm would be the perfect time to watch Sing, a movie that my daughter and I wanted to see. Planned to see in the early afternoon and you probably all know I didn't buy tickets in advance and it was sold out the two times I had in mind. We ended up seeing it at 4:30 pm, as had my daughter buy tickets online. We arrived and sure enough long line for movies; however, buying tickets online meant going in right away. The online fee was worth it. I used gift cards to pay the movie charge and fee, as I have mentioned before I avoid credit card usage. Now to the movie Sing has a lot of actors playing the roles and it can be hard to get all the time needed with the characters that people will want to see and I felt that might be the place to make this 4 stars instead of 5. Here are just a few Matthew Canaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, John C Reilly, Taron Egerton and Jennifer Saunders and there were a lot more of them. I enjoyed the singing and several of the actors can sing well. We start with a contest that ends up with a lot of problems that we all know would happen including the dollar value that the winner will receive. The children that were watching near me were crying and not happy seeing this one, so maybe its not suited for everyone, which is part of my 4 star rating. I enjoyed it and would watch it again in the future.
