Good afternoon. Now most of you opened your gifts. as Christmas ends and the New year will be among us. Do you write thank you notes? Many do and many don't . As they send e-card etc.I for one send thank you notes. I am showing them mostly how I feel about them. I find this very personal to me.I do not send e card. Yes,it cost a few pennies to me it is worth it. The notes and e card are not the same. the e card is like you had to say something. Thank you card is personal and caring to the one that you send. I always sent thank you notes.I love to write and this is very, very personal to me. do you send out Thank you notes or e-card. The photo is public domaine. Do you like my new avatar?

No I don't do thank you notes at Christmas. we exchange gifts so we say thank you in person. If someone sent me a gift I would write a thank you.

I do like the new avatar! I send thank you cards, with a nice little personal note in it-it goes a long ways thanking a host/hostess.

Since the people were here when I opened the presents they gave me I said my thank you's. I don't feel the need to say it again. I did send thank you letters when I was younger and received presents from relatives who weren't there when I opened them on Christmas morning.

Your new avatar is very classy. I would usually send a hand-written card if I had received gifts in the mail.

It is always good to thank people for the gifts you received. So, if you have time to send people 'thank you' cards, then go for it. We human these days are very lazy, we don't send mails or cards any more. Everything is done via internet. The only thing I receive in the letter box these days are bills... so sad and so depressing. Happy holiday!!
