It's that odd time now when Christmas is kind of over and we're waiting for New Year to arrive. There's still lots of food left over and the decorations are still up, but it kind of feels like an anti-climax right now. I've been working the last three days, so I guess that doesn't help! I'd much rather be snuggled up in front of a film with the kids.
We've had a lovely Christmas this year, we've had a tough year and have a difficult few months ahead due to illness, so it was nice to put everything to one side and enjoy a traditional family Christmas.
This afternoon we've got a few "normal" errands to run which it feels wrong to be doing at this time of year! We need to return some overdue library books and do a bit of a food shop.
After that, I hope to stick a film on, we've downloaded the new Jungle Book so that would be a good one to watch later I think!

@HAPPSINGH No, no, please do not wish yet. Never with New Year before time.

@HAPPSINGH It's a good day, I am working at my computer. I have a few things to complete before the end of the year.

I find the period between Xmas and New Year very dull - hope you enjoy the movie

We did thank you, although I nearly spilt my coffee a couple of times due to the "jumpscares" as my son calls them!
