I love getting excited about a new toy and I am excited about my new camera. I didn't think there would be such a difference in the quality of the photos, so that is a nice surprise.
I took a photo of Ruby using the old and the new cameras. I was able to do a side-by-side comparison of the two and I could really see the improvement. I wish I was able to show you, but I never did find out how to do a photo collage. If you use a software program for that can you give me the name, thanks.
In the end, it was worth all the aggravation and now Santa can rest easy! I will say this is my favorite Christmas present.
What about you, what is your favorite Christmas present from this year?
Photo is mine....you know the name of the subject!

It's a great pic, very clear. Canon is a great camera. I think my fav present was from my oldest son. It's a W flag, what Chicago Cub fans fly when the Cubs win. It will be on my house flying proudly every time the Cubs win this coming season.

@fishtiger58 I guess you are. I used to be very interested in baseball, got that from my parents. My grandfather was a sandlot umpire for years. If I was a fan it would be Baltimore.

@JolietJake spelling mistakes often jump of the page at me.....this one falls under the same heading as the dessert-desert issue. I spot it every time. On the Bubblews site I once had a bad one in my title. No one spotted it (or commented) for months. It was supposed to say Lunar Eclipse, it said Lunar Elipse.

see if your pc has snipping tool, then you can open both photos, put them on a screen right next to each other, open snipping tool, and with the new, make a box around both, and save it, then use it as a photo on here. that's how I do it anyways without fancy programs

Don't have a clue what snipping tools is/are - have not seen anything like that on this computer.

@AbbyGreenhill it's just a program called snipping tool, most pcs have it on them. can always do a search in your programs and see if it is there. Printscreen on your keyboard might also work.

That's a lovely photo. Somehow I have mislaid the best of our two small cameras. I've looked everywhere but really have no idea where it could be.

I think now that I know the new one is a keeper I'll list the old one on one of the yard sale groups and hopefully get a few bucks - it still takes good photos.

I too get excited about new stuff especially whenever somebody gifts me something. Your pet is so cute. What's his name? Or is it her?

It is hard to say one in my case cause I have 2 daughters I love dearly. One gift was a picture from the church directory of the one daughter's church she attends. The other was a cooking ware set from a store she works at in the mall. They both made a special effort to put a smile on my face.I could not choose just one. Hope you had a great Chrismas Abby
