How do you save your money?

A new one is coming, and with it, many accomplishments/dreams that we hope will come true, right?
For this, it's necessary that we have a good amount of money seeking to turn some things that we want into reality. I try to do this by avoiding unnecessary spending and keeping a bank account with fixed deposits monthly.
And you, what do you do?

That is a great strategy indeed, and this is something we all should take a cue from.

Right now, we're having a difficult time saving. Mostly because my husband and I only just starting to really be able to get some financial stability and things are just uncertain. But hopefully in the new year when we have a better idea of what is happening, we'll be able to save a little more easily.

I use cash to pay for everything but food and medicine. If the cash in my wallet runs out, no more fun spending.

First, I made an excel with all fix outcomes every month and my income to see if everything is covered and how much I may save monthly. I have a second account where I put some money in everytime I get my budget (that's once a month). Besides, I try to keep down to a minimum my outcomes like electricity, water, petroil.... and I try not to buy unnecesary items.

Anytime I have change in my checking account, I move it over to my savings.. and then of course I forbid myself to touch my savings unless it's important. It's a slow way to save up, but it's better than not saving at all. I also put money aside for other expenses so they don't hurt so much.. like Christmas, back to school, vacations.

Well, my finances had been improving in the earlier part of 2016. However, later on it has faced some severe pressure. Now, that has led me to work more on some different Paying sites and other options.
I already try to avoid electricity wastage and do not spend on luxuries currently. But some basic needs have to be met somehow.

My money goes to my Children's education which I think is the best investment, some are in the bank to pay the bills, some are in bitcoins and other altcoins, some are in a piggy bank beside me right now

Saving money is a discipline and virtue that people have generally forgotten in this spend spend spend credit card world.

I just move it to my savings account and don't touch it unless I absolutely have to. I also save all of my change in my piggy bank and when it is full I put it into an even bigger glass jar and when I fill that up I take it to the bank to put into my savings account.
