How was the year 2016 on mylot.

The year is coming to an end like any other year. We are going to enter into a new year 2017. I thought that I will have a quick recap of year 2016 in context of mylot. I was not regular throughout the year on mylot. I was completely away for few months due to off line commitments. As the year entered its last quarter, I could log into mylot to participate in the discussions started by dear friends. I observed that some new mylotters have joined the platform and they start interesting discussions. Undoubtedly, old mylotters keep adding their share of discussions and there is no dearth of discussions to respond. By the year end, I started following some mylotters who turned out to be good friends and I found them on the same page as I am.
On my part I could not start many discussions due to one reasons or the other. I wish that current crop of mylotters continue to be on mylot for a long long time and mylot community would get strengthened with their activities.
How about you, how was the year 2016 for you on mylot?
I wish all mylotters a very Happy New Year 2017 and may it bring more cheers and happiness for everyone.

I joined mylot in this year, so this is special. I never knew about this platform until i landed here accidently. And i an thankful this happened, as i got to know some really good people here who would advice me and not judge me based in what i say :)

I came late to myLot and had troubles signing up. I did so with the help of a good friend. However the earnings was slow in the beginning. But as I get to know the site I have been doing progressively better. I think I now understand a little how to get people to visit mt page. On Christmas day I earned a dollar. I was amazed. the bank needle do move! I am hoping 2007 will be even better.

You also joined in 2016 and gradually you got hang of the site and now you know the tricks how to earn faster here. It is great to hear that on Christmas day you could earn a Dollar. For how many hours, you were there on mylot on that day?

@dpk262006 About four hours, i think. Actually I do like myLot people. I wish I had more time to interact. I have set up a $10.00 mark as my personal challenge for 15th Jan. I would like to have a deposit in my PayPal Account, which I am now trying to use. Do you know how PayPal works?

@Gita17112016 Four hours is pretty good time to be spent on mylot. If spending four hours here helps you to earn handsome amount, then it is fine.
It is good that you have set up a target of $10 by 15th Jan. I am sure once you set a target, you would make all efforts to achieve your target. My best wishes are with you.
Just open Paypal site and check if it is possible to transfer money from paypal to your bank account. Paypal does not have tie up with banks in few countries.
In my case, whatever I earn from mylot, gets automatically transferred to my paypal account. From paypal, it is immediately transferred to my bank account. I already have a verified paypal account which also includes my bank details.
If still in doubt, let me know.

As always, I have enjoyed my time here this year, but wish I could have been here more often. Real life takes over (which is a good thing in most cases) and there is less time to be on the computer. The good thing is myLot is thriving and continues to thrive . . . I hope our community here stays for a very long time. It's nice to know we can still pop our heads into this party when we are able - the party doesn't end

Even when you remain absent mylot activities continues and you are right that it is thriving day by day. New members are joining every other day and some of them not only actively participate but prove that they are good writers.

I started my year off by finally taking my last semester in college and thinking I would have lots of time to be here. However, with my husband retired and me helping my daughter at her dog grooming shop, I had less time than before I started college and now I have decided to home school my son, I can barely get on the computer, let alone to a site like this.

Were you studying/or doing any course till the beginning of previous year 2016? You could not get much time on mylot, as you would have liked to and now you do not get spare compute to do mylotting.

2016 marked my first year as a mylotter last November. i had ups and downs and i even shared them here. being confined last March, i felt so alone with no one to share my feelings that time, but going back later, i felt the openness of the community in accepting me back
