How to open a bottle of wine

Step one: remove foil wrapping. (This is the easy part)
Step two: procure cork screw to open wine.
Step three: somehow manage to get the cork screw in slightly angled.
FIght with it, pulling cork screw out and putting it back in. Get angry at cork screw and somehow push cork inside bottle. Get case knife (butter knife) and push corkscrew and knife into bottle.
Pour wine and enjoy.
In my defense, this isn't my favorite cork screw.
Hopefully this isn't the precursor (example) to what the new year will be for me.

It seems that requires wonderful talent. I do not think I will attempt. My grape juice is the unfermented type. I would be totally dangerous with a corkscrew in hand.
