I just bought this 2 inch memory foam mattress cover from Amazon a few days ago. Per the instructions you have to let it expand for 48 hours, which I did. It was about $45 (which I paid for in Amazon gift cards, which was awesome!) And it does feel like it makes the bed more comforrable than it was without it. One thing I did notice was that suddenly at night, when I am usually freezing - I an HOT - like TOO HOT. I dont think our heat magically started working better, I think its the memory foam. On the upside, I was warned that some memory foam has an odd smell - I dont think this one smells at all. Which is good! Have you experienced this? Do you have any memory foam toppers or mattresses? What is your review?

I bought a memory foam mattress about 2 years ago. I never noticed a smell with it for which I had also been warned. When I had my coil mattress I would wake up with a very sore back at least 3 or 4 days a week. Since I got the memory foam I have had 2 back aches in the morning. So for me it was the best buy ever. I haven't noticed it being any cooler or hotter than my coil mattress.

Sounds like something I might need to look into because lately our bed seems to be too hard.

I think my daughter uses a mattress of that. Our house is cold at night in the winter so I don't think it keeps her warm. It could also depend on the manufacturer. She loves her bed.
