New Years Eve

I had a very splendid time on New Years Eve playing card games and having a few drinks with my husband and some awesome friends, one of them being my ex whom I reconnected with after 6 years. Never thought that would happen lol but it's amazing how he's become one of my best friends after 10 years of breaking up.
We all stayed up to watch the ball drop, and then I felt like a zombie and had to go to sleep because I knew I had to work at 6 a.m the next morning. It's nice to be around people that you care about and whom love you too to bring in the new year together.

Sounds like you had a wonderful New Year's Eve. That is what the holidays are all about, spending time with people that mean the most to you. I think it is great that your ex and you are now friends. That does not happen too often.

Yes and the fact that him and my husband have no issues is just icing on the cake lol. It was a wonderful evening spent with people that are special to me.

It took ten years before my ex and I reconnected. I didn't see the ball drop this year but heard the fireworks down town and waked up from a nap just in time to ring in the new year. Nice to be around good friends to bring in the new year.

I was at Marcela´s house. She is one of my best friend´s daughter. We had fun, talked, ate delicious things and I stayed overnight at my friend´s home.
