Now This Really Surprised Me!

I’ve been doing some research on songwriters and came across quite a few unusual facts. We hear a lot of songs being sung and recorded but sometimes we have no idea WHO WROTE the songs.
Here’s an example: Did you know that before Charles Manson became a murderous cultist, he was actually a songwriter? Before he was arrested, his song, “Never Learn Not To Love,” was recorded by the none other than the Beach Boys.
Here’s another tidbit of information: Both the Hokey Pokey and the Bunny Hop were invented at the famous Sun Valley Ski Resort in Idaho, USA.

I knew Manson had a hankering to get into the music game and if memory serves, Doris Day's son Terry Milcher who was a producer crossed paths with him.

Yes, some song writer's are very successful. I have written a couple songs, but have not been able to sell them. I write the lyrics and the music.

That is very interesting. It is crazy the things that serial killers or dictators like Hitler did before the bad things they did. I guess we never them as normal humans having normally hobbies, dreams, and goals in life.
