Sloths, Owls and cats oh my!

Do you have an affinity towards any particular birds or animals? I find myself drawn towards sloths and owls.
Owls have been a long time fascination. I find their nocturnal habits and brilliant eyes fascinating. Say nothing of the fact that they have been historically associated with wisdom. I like their shape and distinct hoot hoot call.
Sloths are a more recent fascination, I like how they move slowly and have an easy, peaceful smile.
Of course my cat, Kiki wouldn't like it if I left her off of the list, either. She is a calico and has a big personality. Currently she lives with my parents, as when I was moving she adapted to life with them and they love her, but I come to visit often.

Being a giant tortoise appeals, hardly moving and living up to 300 years on a tropical beach. What's not to like?

@FayeHazel I had a duck as a pet when I was a kid. It dropped out of a truck and ran right to me. We named it Lucky.

I think it's cool though, I had a friend who loved elephants. I think they're awesome, very intelligent and emotional creatures, but just don't have the same pull for me that some of these do...

I always thought of owls as interesting and you know they have their own distinct look as well.

I love cats and I'm also fascinated with owls especially big owls. I'm not interested with sloths

If I were to buy a toy at the store for someone I would buy a talking and moving dog and cat.
