1. People over age 50 had a 30% reduced risk of hip fractures who drank tea. Drinking tea improves the quality and strength of the bones. 2. A researcher at the Georgia Health Sciences University in Augusta has found that the polyphenols found in green tea will program cell death in certain tumor cells. 3. It has been shown in studies that tea can help to lower triglyceride levels and lower cholesterol in those with cardiovascular disease. 4. In a United Kingdom study it is suggested that green and black tea might slow the progression of Alzheimer's Disease. In a German lab study it showed that green tea may retard neural damage and inflammation associated with the onset of multiple sclerosis. 5. It has also been found that green tea may promote healthy skin cell growth. This can help in psoriasis and in wound healing.

Usually only one in the morning and one at night. In the summer I drink a lot of green iced tea.

@celticeagle i tried green tea once and got diarrhea. not sure why. just makes me worry to try it again
