Clowns: Some Interesting Facts / myLot

As usual, I was looking through some of my notebooks and came across some interesting information about clowns, so I thought I would share it with you. Actually, many people are AFRAID of clowns. This fear is called coulrophobia. See the link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coulrophobia Did you know that professional clowns actually register their faces with a face registry so that no one else can copy them? Are you afraid of clowns?

I'm not afraid of clowns but it saddens me to see really sinister clown faces. I didn't know they could register their faces but it makes sense.

I agree. I like "happy" clown faces, definitely not the sinister ones.

@IreneVincent It seems sad that what were once great fun can now be viewed with terror almost. Certainly the sinister ones are very threatening in a way.

I never liked clown even as a child. Something about a grownup dressing up as a clown made me thing that they were insane. Then along came Stephen King and his novel and movie IT and that did it for me. If I saw a clown today I would go screaming and running away. Most likely they would put me away and not that clown
