Is This Cold Enough For You??

We had to go into Winnipeg this afternoon and I really bundled up but was surprised to find that I was still cold. And then they said on the radio that it was -24 but with the wind chill, it would feel like -34. No wonder I was feeling cold. But there was a good side to it. The announcer said that we should be getting about -13 at this time of the year. Here's hoping that next winter is a lot better than the way this one is heading!!
At least we haven't had to clear the driveway this week... but I'm sure that it could us a once over. I get nervous when it isn't completely clear. It's just too cold to stay out for very long! I'm still finding it funny how people seem to take these temps for granted. I wonder how long it will take for me to turn into a Manitoban?

I would definitely get sick if I had stayed over there. it's a bit cold here and I get cold feet already.

Maybe you will never be a true Manitoban. Some people never really get used to some climates.

Literally has a chill just reading that. I am sure that it is in Celsius but still! That sounds just..no. no too cold! I hope you can adapt! That is something us humans can do, but something like that...I don't know if anyone can really adapt to that. Just jacket after jacket and maybe a personal heater all the time haha
