This is the smaller of the kitties I inherited, her name is Meetzee. She is also the more aggressive kitty, she never was that way with mom but she has let me know by lightly biting me .... no it did not hurt .... when I did something she did not like. She did attack Ally which is why I had to put her and Max in a closed room. And she can be so very sweet with me that it makes me feel guilty for not letting her in with my original pets. Isn't she a beauty? I took these two shots of her a couple of days ago, on the left she is opening her eyes, she was letting me know she likes me, and on the right she is watching Max. I could hardly believe it but she is not camera shy Do you have cats? Have you noticed their body language?

You know I take Doodles for 8 months of the year. His sister is Kuma. I've always had cats. Tiger, Blackie, S. Milton Catz, Oodie, Cyrus III, and Pooka. They all had different personalities, but similar body language.

Yeah, I kinda figured you were a cat lady. I love both cats and dogs and have had both since 1980 .... I don't count what my parents had because they didn't stay with me after I left home and they never had cats. Have you ever had dogs?

@rebelann Yes, I love dogs, too. I had several growing up and two in our marriage. Loved them all.

That is so cool. Yes, they are very expressive and mine has been teaching my dog to be that way too. Poor pup thinks she's a cat, hope she doesn't try to climb a tree

Meetzee is a beauty. I love her colors. How did she get her name?

I honestly don't know, she was mom's cat but when she passed I brought them to my home.

When will you let her be with the others in the house?

From her colouring I see that she is a 'torty' - tortoise shell cat. My brother has one and that too is a mix of love and kisses and bites and scratches. He told me that they have a name for being unpredictable and sometimes spiteful. She is beautiful there is no denying it. Perhaps given time she will settle down with you and not miss your mother.

This is Maddie. She is 17. I was still in bed and she had no milk, water, or food in any bowl.

I'm surprised you don't have one now, most farmers keep them to control mice.

We had cats when I was at home, growing up. As an adult, I had one cat, Mindy for 18 years. She was a sweetheart! Meetzee is beautiful:)

Oh wow, I was 24 when I got my first kitty. Thanks, I think she's pretty too but she will bite if I don't do what she wants so I'm careful not to let her take advantage.

My cat bites too and also can be very sweet also. That is not nice of Meetzee to attack Ally.
