Blind Book Exchange

Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus and a coffee at a nearby cafe I love this picture. I took it awhile ago.

So tomorrow I am hosting a Blind Book Exchange at a nearby coffee shop with my 16 year old daughter. I'm so excited and nervous at the same time. I can't wait to see how many people show up and see what books we get. Basically, you bring 1-3 wrapped books (so you can't see the title) and exchange them with other people. I am holding a couple of drawings and giving away bookmarks to people that bring guests. It feels good to get so much accomplished! I know it is the prednisone that is making me feel so much better, but I don't care. I'm happy. I have more energy and I love getting things done.

That sounds such a fun idea! This would work at a writing group too as an occasional 'something different'. I hope it is really successful for you. :)

Never heard of a blind book exchange sounds like fun. Wish I could find some people in my area to do a kindle book exchange with. I hope you get some good books.

That sounds like a great idea. The only time I've heard of such a thing is last year the library had a blind book exchange I seem to remember. I'd love to find out how this goes for you. It might work at our book club.
