There are 52 weeks in a year but it's not exact, which is why every fourth year we have an extra day.

Hi it is always 52 weeks and the one extra day - makes the dates to go into the next day in the following Calendar year. And when the leap year comes it is 2, because of the 366 days while 52 weeks makes it 364 days. While making any calculation it is always taken as 52 weeks to a year...don't bother about the 1 or 2 extra days - which pushes the dates of each Calendar year accordingly in the next Calendar year.
