Mystery of the non-sucking vacuum solved...

My brother came over earlier and dropped off some food that his friend got from his work or something.
While he was here, he fixed our vacuum cleaner, which wasn't "sucking". He first took the head apart to check if there was any thing stopping the beater bar, but their wasn't. The filters weren't clogged, they were hardly dirty at all.
Finally he checked the wand/tube and figured out that there was "something" in the main tube, but couldn't seem to jam it out with either a yardstick or a wooden rod that he got from the garage.
I went and got a pair of Mom's hemostats, and wound up pulling wad after wad after wad of Angel's hair out of the vacuum tube. By the time I was done I had enough hair to make a newborn puppy, I was pretty sure!
Now, at least, I can vacuum tomorrow !

My vacuum doesn't suck too well either. I've tried all sorts of things to fix it too. It does such but not well.
