Do you consider yourself a smart person

I like to think that I am a reasonably intelligent person, I am no Einstein, but I get by.
But there are quite a few people in my life that don't think I am bright so this makes me doubt myself sometimes. It has always been the same and I wonder what it is that makes them think I am stupid.
How about you? Do you consider yourself smart?

I never show myself smart..such people are always pointed in other's view and likely to have more enemies

Smartness is not by showing ...its doing smart work....by showing....its termed to be an oversmart person... :)

When I was growing up, the word “smart” meant you got As and Bs in most of your school subjects. So if that's the “measure” being used, then yes I'm smart. I'm also ignorant about a lot of stuff. So am I smart or not? I believe we're all intelligent beings.

Maybe those same pretentious people aren't as smart as they think they are. I'm not as dumb or smart as I think I am .... whatever that means

To me, if you (you here as in plural) think you are smart, then there will others smarter than you. If you think you know every thing, then there will be others know more than you do... So, I am smart in someway...
