I think I need to go back to selling on ebay

Around 2003 I started selling things on Amazon. I had a nervous breakdown and quit working awhile before that. I was pregnant with my first child and my husband had a low paying job with his father.
I didn't earn a lot of money but it was enough to buy things my daughter needed like clothes and cloth diapers etc.
I sold on ebay for about 5 years. The fees got higher and higher until it wasn't worth selling on there any longer for most things.
Some things I have paid a lot for and do not want to just give away so I have cluttered up my closets with things I will "sometime" sell on ebay.
Money is going to be a lot tighter this year in my household. I think it may just be time to stop putting it off and start listing things for sale again on ebay... Starting with my books! They are easy to list and package to mail.

I think it's a good idea. It's one way of earning online

Even if I only earn a little it will help clear some clutter out of my house. I am lower on money this year so any little bit extra will help.

I don't think most would be worth listing for sale but I looked up the one I am reading now and they sold for about $3.99 and the one I just finished and past along to my father-in-laws wife sold for $5. Kicking myself for not thinking of this idea before giving so many books away!

I have been selling on ebay for some years now, I mostly do it for something to do, but I don't mind the money. I usually profit about 1000 dollars a year

@shaggin I do the whole garage sale thing. But for a dime sell for 10 bucks. What fun.

Never sold anything on ebay before always been on craigslist I wish you luck with your sale of your books once you list them. Gotta get rid of the old to get some new ones.

I am leery of craigslist as it causes a lot of out if towners to come buy things. I don't like strangers knowing exactly where I live. I sell on the local facebook groups sometimes but mostly very low priced yard sale type items or things to heavy to bother sending through the mail.

Ebay in our country is not yet that popular but I wish it would be so that I can also start to have an online business. I got a lot of stuff not used here in the house.

It is less popular here then it was many years ago but is still a great place to sell and buy things. It's nice to find some great deals as well as unique items. I still haven't taken the time to list anything for sale yet I just can't get motivated to do it :-/

You have a lot of books there. Do you think you will get much for them? Sometimes they seem to me to go for a pittance. I hope you get a fair price for them.
