I Got My Mother A New Washing Machine

My mother and I ordered this last Saturday on installment basis. I thought our application wasn't approved since they did not call last Monday as promised. So this morning, we traveled back to the city to have it cancelled and I am just planning to buy it on cash basis at another appliance store. I just want the installment basis because I still might need the cash I have on hand for other purposes. It's under 0% interest (no credit card needed) so I really want to take advantage of it. But if not approved, I can spend the money but after a week or two, not today. When we arrived at their store, we said that we will follow up on our order and have it cancelled because we didn't hear anything about it up until today but they said they were contacting us last Monday but their calls didn't go through. I told them that's impossible because I gave them three contact numbers. The officer in charge this noon was different from the one we talked to last Saturday and I felt he was more concerned that he didn't let us go unless we will be able to have our order. He didn't waste any minute in contacting his superiors and even the finance officer and he let them talk to my mother. After the call and after paying the downpayment equal to one month of the monthly installment fees, they got a new stock and loaded on their truck. This afternoon, they delivered it at home and my mother is so happy. My father also didn't expect that it will still be delivered since he thought that we will have it cancelled. I have eight more months to pay but I am planning to pay it sooner. Now, they have a new washing machine. Our old washing machine is still running but not as good as before so I really wanted to give them a new one.
