Today is my nephews 14th birthday so when my daughter went to school I went with her to my parents house when my sister and her children live. I gave my nephew a card and I got to play with my 7 month old niece.
I do not get to see them often with doing the cyber schooling all day with my son. So this was a very nice start to my day!
I like posts that have photos so I attached a picture of the knickknacks but sister bought me for Christmas. I thought it would brighten my post up a bit :-)

Seems like you have been waiting a really long time for it to get fixed. The day started good but got bad about 11am. My son got hungry after eating a large breakfast and a snack and wanted food. After him crying for a half hour I told him he could have a healthy snack like fresh pineapple but he wanted oreos and I wouldn't let him so he cried for another hour. I had a headache and had to take advil.

@Tina30219 I'm just glad your able to be at mylot even if you don't have the tablet because I enjoy interacting with you. After the last online class we took about an hour and sat together watching "Howl's Moving Castle". He got pretty miserable when we had to start back up doing school work. We just had Health and Math homework left. I cannot wait for this day to end lol.

Someone pointed out to me that on their view the photo is sideways. It is correct on my ipod screen :-/ I am downloading an app now to try to correct this from happening when I post photos from my ipod since that is where I use mylot 99% of the time.

@1hopefulman Ha ha ha no not Buddha. It is a basket of lemons and a smaller basket of three lemons. The larger one is just a decoration but the smaller one with the three lemons in front is a votive candle holder. I changed it and I think it is facing the right direction now.

@shaggin Yes, mine is sideways also and I can't really tell what it is. It looks like a Buddha, is it?

It looks like a lemon tree and holders for candles? You must have taken it on a device and uploaded it directly here. There is a way to orient your image correctly before uploading, but it takes a bit of work if using a device, possibly. I use my desktop to make sure my images are the correct way.

@MarshaMusselman I use picmonkey to edit photos on my desktop. What a hassle this all sounds but I will download the new picmonkey app to see if I save it a certain way if it will stop being sideways on here. You are the only one who has pointed it out to me so I assumed it was just a glitch on my end!

@shaggin THat's usually because our devices have the default a certain way. It may put it correctly when viewing it, but not be the same as the default. You may be able to figure out your default and then try to take your images without turning the device. Most of us do that to get more of the image in.
Have you ever used an editing tool like picmonkey or photoscape? If so, if you uploaded it to their page it would probably show up in the default position and you can then turn it around and save it that way.

It was a nice day minus the hour and a half my son had a meltdown during cyber school. I was very happy when it was bedtime. Today was a much better day. It is also Friday so my kids get to stay up until I go to bed. They enjoy getting to stay up later.

@Marty1 My mother read to my sister when she was a kid and she loved reading until about high school age when her love of reading ended. Me I did not like reading. My mother tried to sit with me and read but I was not interested. I was very hyper.
When I was in 4th grade the teacher forced us to do a book report and I read a book called "Don't call me toad". From that day I was obsessed with reading. I read anything I could get my hands on.
Once in a great while my daughter who is 12 asks me to read to her and I love it! My son who is 9 lets me read to him now and then. He isn't as in love with reading as I am.
