Today will be a lazy day

Last night I washed and soaked the beans then I drained the liquid and put new water in and put them on the stove on very low overnight. This morning I added a sirloin steak I'd bought the day before yesterday in it and chopped up some onions and added that too. Well, a few minutes ago I went to check if the beef is done, it fell apart and the liquid tastes so very good. I'm watching HBO right now, I have a 30 day trial on Amazon so I'm watching all kinds of movies. One old movie I saw yesterday was disappointing, remember the movie Casper? Well, I saw it once a long time ago and when I watched it the other day I kept thinking "is that all?" yeah, not exactly a good movie but maybe it's because of the times we're in now. Hey, I've watched E.T. several times and it never loses it's mojo. So are you planning a lazy day? Will you be watching movies? I couldn't resist using my shot of Mykey napping in his chair, he was such a character.

Nothing lazy about yesterday for me. That soup you were making sounds wonderful. I am drooling over here. Not sure how this weekend will go. Lil K come home early from school today because he was sick.

@rebelann I had to put Kessa to sleep. She was in a lot of pain and I didn't want her suffering anymore.

Thank you @velvet53 he had a tumor and was 12 years old, I miss him but I didn't want him to suffer. Yep, they are very good company.

I tried thanks. I'm watching a lot of different movies on HBO for now, I'm watching a Harry Potter movie then next I will watch Blast from the Past again. Both are pretty good, maybe I'll nap when they are playing.

My idea of a lazy day is to reminisce, sitting in my favourite corner. I like that dog there on the chair. Preiti rests her head on the arm as well sometimes.

His name was Mykey, he lived to be 12 but when they told me he had a tumor and was suffering I put him down, I refuse to allow any of my babies to suffer.

Thank you so much, he was a bull terrier mix with an attitude. He is sorely missed.
