Soft morning dreams, not wanting to wake up. The sounds of the day awakening, birds singing outside the window or in the wintertime, a snow heavy branch tapping, against my windowpane. Sounds that make me smile, as I come awake, are those made by pattering, raindrops falling down. Soft sounds of my cat purring, the day is coming alive all around me, but I just wish it would let me be. Then come the first sun rays, if the day is now gray, stretching over the bed, they find my eyelids and I cannot sleep any more. The day has begun and so it has to be, as I stretch and yawn and consider my daily plan. With longing I look, at my PC , it awaits full of notices, from my online friends. So I get dressed and begin the day, meow or good morning, says my cat Sid, with a steaming cup of tea, I turn on my PC. Then I can greet all of my online friends, say good morning and see how their day is dawning. I was inspired by the morning when I wrote this but actually I have come to realize we all cannot face morning at the same time. So I say good morning to those whose day is beginning, good afternoon to those who are already at midday, good evening to those who have finished their day and good night to those who are ready to go to bed.
