It sounds scary to hear a loud snore but I think someone snoring is having a deep sleep. Sometimes I'm worried if I hear my family member snore so loud it seems they're short of breath. But I like it when I am snoring loud and didn't know about it. For me I had a deep sleep if I snore.

Snoring can be a sign of sleep apnea, which is not good.

Yeah sleep apnea is not good. If it makes breathing harder. We should seek medical help

My husband snores loudly. At first I didn't get used to it. But as time goes by, it doesn't matter to me at all. I can fall asleep soon even if he snores besides me

Now you made me curious. I wonder if I snore at night? Can we actually hear ourselves snore?

@averygirl72 So, maybe I don't snore? I should put on a tape recorder and see what happens.

I snore as hubby told me . But I don't like to ever snore , but I can't control it . I have been dieting lately so I might as well as my hubby if I still snore . He also snore sometimes , and when it becomes guttural ,I wake him up .

My husband snores quite loudly sometimes and also seems to stop breathing from time to time. I usually give him a gentle push at those times and he starts breathing again. Quite possible he has sleep apnea.
