Derek Carr Saves the Day

I just read a really cool article on the San Francisco Chronicle's website's Oakland Raiders page. Oakland Police had issued an Amber Alert for a missing toddler, and Raiders quarterback Derek Carr saw it on Twitter. Having well over 200,000 Twitter followers, Carr retweeted it to all of those followers. One of them saw the car and called it in. Toddler found and rescued. How cool is that? I've linked the Chronicle article below.
A retweet may not seem like much but, when you're as famous as Derek Carr, sometimes it's enough to have a huge impact.

Yeah, we get a lot of flak, don't we? It's tough being a Raider fan here in Colorado. I've had guys want to fight me a few times.

@Plethos - It certainly does. Especially when the Raiders are good. They really hate that.
