My books, My buddies!

It was a long wait again. The line was too long that I can't help but wonder how much time I will have to wait. But I still went on and got my number knowing that soon enough I will have my turn.
Good thing I brought one of my books. I usually have one or two in my bag every time I go. Its a habit. I read books while waiting. It helps me relax so I wont fret and look what number it is every second.
While travelling I also have my some books with me. I like to read while I'm listening to some music.

All sorts. I have love stories, horror, help self, cookbooks even. What ever pique my interest.

@HAPPSINGH Nope. I'm not a teacher. My mom is. I have my accounting and law books. When I pass thats the time I will get rid of it.

I also like use my phone or pc when I have an e-book copy. But sometimes its too small to read so I prefer printed copies almost all the time. I had an ipad before, I cannot stop myself from reading 3 series... And its not good to read books from mobile or Ipad for a long period, it can cause early blindness.

@frank96 Its okay for you because probably you can control your self from reading. In my case, I cant. I can control my textbook reading but not my favorite books. I always have the urge to finish them fast. I dont want to look at the ending first before I read the whole book.

@diosabella A piece of advice for you that you might read e-book every half an hour, which will not cause short-sighted .Because i usually read that way

So true! My love for reading started with Nancy Drew when I was 8. Then the Hardy Boys, Sweet Valley High, etc etc

Reading is a good thing. Many times I have been known to read while sitting on a bus, the train sometimes on a plane or just relaxing here at home. Many times though anymore it is not a book per sey. I read mostly now from my computer or my tablet.

I like reading books because it will never run out of battery. The only thing was it will be limited. I also have copies of my books in my computer and mobile. In that way if I can't bring enough books I still have some options. But I need to control my habit of finishing the book in one sitting. Because reading too much on mobile or computer screen is not good for my eye sight.

@diosabella You should try it sometime you will be surprised at how many you have read. I do it to relax and for fun and it helps me unwind at night so I can sleep good.

That's my lament on high school. My books, my burden! But not anymore in college. Never really have to bring books unless its literature. But believe me I enjoyed literature very much than studying economics.
