Even though I disagree with it, it is happening...and this is my country...so he will be my President.
And I want to hear what he has to say.
So I will be watching the swearing in (possibly swearing myself as it happens
) and the speech he is due to give afterwards.
For those that don't know where to watch it online, there are several places...I am going to use the NBC live stream from YouTube

Join NBC News LIVE as President-elect Donald J. Trump takes the oath of office on January 20, 2017, to formally become the 45th President of the United State...

It is being covered live on various TV channels here and I have one on where half of the screen shows the inauguration and the other half the rescue operations in the mountains here.
A joyous day for some and a sad day for others

@JolietJake Me too! It is breathtakingly emotional watching the scenes live, and they are now in voice contact with some more!

I missed the entire inauguration, since I had to work, but I've been hearing a lot of follow-up news stories and discussions about the protests, riots, civil disobedience and other mischief that took place at or around the inauguration. It totally disgusts me that people behave like this. Whether you agree with Trump or not, he is our President. Destroying our cities and our businesses and personal property is doing nothing to make our country better. If people are angry about the situation, then put that anger to work in a positive manner, by getting involved in something that is going to change the world for the better.
