Some Good News for a Change...

So I have my own personal trainer online in the form of a YouTuber. He does live stream exercises. When he doesn't do them, I do them on my own - the Daily 100. That's 100 reps of 3 or 4 exercises in sets of 25. Then my darling daughter who also has a Fit Bit challenged me to the Work Week Challenge. My neighbour had challenged me the week before but I ignored it. How am I to compete with people who have jobs to go to and are running around all day? But I took up my daughter's challenge and threw myself into my workouts and getting back on the treadmill. Of course my daughter beat me.
With the Fit Bit I am also tracking my water intake. One is supposed to drink 2200 ml. of water a day (approximately 74 1/2 ounces). I have exceeded that every day and I have noticed a few changes to my body. I know I wasn't drinking enough water because every time I went to the bathroom my pee was really yellow. It is supposed to be faintly yellow otherwise you are dehydrated. Well, my pee is faint yellow all the time, even first thing in the morning. I think the water is also helping with some of the muscle pains, the ones from exercising (not my chronic pains). I am healing a lot faster from exercising.
I am monitoring my sleep. I was averaging about 6 hours a night, sometimes more, sometimes less. My goal was 8 hours a night. I have been sleeping 7-9 hours of sleep since monitoring, but it still isn't deep sleep as the chart shows my restlessness and waking minutes. But I am comfortable that I am getting more sleep.
The real bonus? I've lost 3 pounds this week. It's amazing the things that motivate you. I am pleased with my progress and will continue on. Hopefully I can get down 20 pounds by summer.
