What electronic devices do you use everyday?

I have a laptop that I use everyday for work and all the other online activities. My smartphone is also a very valuable device, since it is necessary to communicate with clients, family and friends, and for work (sending emails, navigating, taking notes etc.). Finally my boyfriend gave me his tablet recently but I haven't really used it yet. I have only installed netflix and I am planning to watch some tv shows. What electronic devices are most valuable for your needs?

Yes they are part of our daily life and work too. I am wondering how future new technologies will evolve, tech moves forward so fast.

I have a desktop computer at home, but use a laptop, iPad, and iPhone here in Florida. We have two smart TVs, Roku, and Netflix here as well.

I wanted to get a desktop but the laptop offers the flexibility to use on the go so I decided the laptop. Roku is a streaming device? My boyfriend (who is great with technology) has a similar device and we can watch many international channels like E, FOX etc.

@besweet My nephew set it up the Roku for my husband. He only uses it to watch local news in our home area and his American football team. The season is over as far as we're concerned.

The smartphone is the most essential device of all in my opinion! Do you use mylot from your mobile as well?

They are valuable in many everyday activities and work. We become more dependent on technology every day.

You don't like mobile phones or you just don't need it? I used to have an old phone for years without touch screen and internet access. When I replaced it with a smartphone I was excited because I could access many sites when I was outside. It has helped me be more active in mylot too.

@JudyEv It's a big change if you decide to get one. I though that it would be good to follow the technology because ot evolves super quickly and it will be harder to follow in the future if I don't learn step by step. The biggest trasition was that I had to use the touch screen to type, instead of the keyboard! lol

@besweet Both. I don't like them mostly but I can see how they can be very useful. I might have to change my mind about them soon.

I should put the mobile first as well. It could partly cover the laptop needs concerning the online activities.

That must be my mobile phone, tablet and computer. I like to use the social apps from my mobile phone. And I like to watch movies from my tablet. And I will go online shopping with my computer. Of course I also like to be active in Mylot by my computer.

@besweet I occasionally will access Mylot by my smartphone. But I still think my typing is quite slow there. This is why I prefer to access it by my computer.

I use my devices in a similar way with you for my activities. About mylot, I prefer accessing the site from my phone when I am outside. It's an easy way to check the notifications and respond throughout the day! Have you tried mylotting from the smarphone?

@youless The typing is slow indeed! But mylot is user friendly on mobiles as well. The computer is the best for sure! You can keep many tabs open and work on other tasks at the same time.

That's great. iPhones and smartphones can basically cover most of our needs. I still use my laptop but I spend less time than I used to..
