Deciding Games Today

Today is the last playoff day before the Super Bowl in two week. Two games will be played today. Packers and Falcons, and Steelers and Patriots. The winners of these games will face each other in two weeks for the Super Bowl. These are going to be great match-ups and I'm sure very good games. I know I'm hoping the Packers are still standing at the end of the day. I also know who I would like to win the other game later today, but I'll keep those thoughts to myself. Green Bay has played both the Steelers and the Patriots in the Super Bowl. The Steelers in Super Bowl 45, and the Patriots in Super Bowl 31. Games in which the Packers won both times. The Packers have been to the Super Bowl five times and lost once to Denver in Super Bowl 32. We won Super Bowl's 1, 2, 31, and 45. I'm hoping to add another Super Bowl and win to our already glorious history with the most titles of any team in the NFL going back before the Super Bowl started 51 years ago. I am ready for this last game today before the big one. Will you be watching the games today? Who are your picks for the Super Bowl? Thanks for reading.

@Marty1 last year they had under inflated balls. It was a big deal.the quarterback wound up suspended for several games this year because of it

Even though I grew up (largely) in Chicago, I'm rooting for the Packers. To me, Green Bay represents football. The Frozen Tundra and all that (even though I learned from you that Green Bay is in a warmish zone for Wisconsin). As for the AFC, I'm pulling for New England. Even with Deflategate and all that, I still think Brady is a classy guy and that the Patriots are a good football organization, like the 49ers used to be. My real dream (if Oakland doesn't make it) is for Green Bay to play KC in the Super Bowl, since I gather the QBs are friends. And I didn't like the way the 49ers shoved Smith out the door to make room for Kaepernick. We all know how that turned out.

Well we know the outcome now and the Patriots did make it to the Super Bowl along with the Falcons. There's always next year.

@just4him I was surprised both games were over as I was driving home from a friend;s house. We did music and I didn't wind up watching any football. Sorry about the Packers.

If your team is playing. Since mine is now eliminated I have no reason to watch.
