Went to see Mom...

Our friend came to pick me up and we went to see Mom. First, she took me out to lunch. We went to see Mom, and she seemed to be better than she was last night. She still forgot the occasional word, but she was speaking more normally. Our friend left me there, and I stayed with Mom for a couple of hours. There were a couple of nice ladies sharing the room with Mom--and the son of one of them was playing the blues on his harmonica when we got there. I got to chat with both of the ladies, and they seemed nice. While I was with Mom, the nurses changed shifts, and before the first one left she said that Mom would have an MRI in an hour or so. I stayed until they took Mom for the MRI. Then I called my friend and she came and picked me up to go home. I was told that Mom may come home tomorrow. I hope that that's the case. I will be making more phone calls tomorrow if so.
