Anything in excess is not advisable. Yes, it is true in the case of Coffee also. But, the recent research reports say that there are some benefits of Coffee if consumed in limits.
If Coffee is consumed with a certain limit, it can provide protection against serious diseases like Type II Diabetes, Parkinson's Disease, and Alzheimer's disease. It can also provide protection from stroke. This may be quite amazing to know that earlier the same coffee was described as poisonous and mainly responsible for all health hazards.
The research reports have found that the anti-oxidants present in the Coffee can boost the immune system.Caffeine lowers the sensitivity of the body towards Insulin and increases the tolerance towards glucose impairment..Therefore, it reduces the chances of Type II Diabetes.
The report says that the caffeine increases the level of Adrenaline hormone in the body and it is responsible for fighting against the health hazards. Coffee provides protection from prostate cancer in men and endometrial cancer in women.
The only thing one has to be cautious about is the limit in which it has to be consumed.

It's good to read that Coffee has health benefits, and that it can provide protection from prostrate cancer. That's good for me but I would still drink coffee if it had no health benefits because coffee helps me wake up in the morning. There's nothing like a good black coffee to start the day with.
