What Do You Think About This?

Okay first of all good to be back for a little bit anyway. Hope you are all having a good day here!
Anyway I never answer my door! Well yesterday I had the curtains open and I was working on my lap top and someone knocked on the door. I guess the man had already seen me and when I asked who it was he said his name which I can not remember that but then he said I am with the F.B.I. I was hesitant to open the door but I did very little and he showed me a badge that said F.B.I. And he was a nice looking well dressed older man and I asked him can I help you? He asked if we knew the lady across the street and if her name was Elizabeth? I told him me me and my husband live here but this is my Mothers house. We really don't socialize much with them but I asked him why did he want to know he said that she had applied for a job there and they were just trying to find out about her? I told him the only thing I know about them is when the man came over here to warn us about a boy that was hiding in their bushes ans gve us a description of him but that was a couple of years ago. And like I siad me and my husband don't really socialize except for the neighbors to the right and left and behind us. I told him I would call my Mother and ask her he said if you don't mind so I did but she did not answer she was in the Hospital with my dad. I told him I was not going to answer the door because we watch a lot of I.D I told him you know Joe Kinda?? Anyway I stopped to think after he left who does that? I thought the F.B.I. was private? So I asked my neighbor next door if he came over there and he said yeah asked the same thing and his son saw the Government car and plates and told me it was nothing to worry about he was legit. But to me you see so may things on t.v. now as people trying to pass as law enforcement people and are really not! My Mom told me that just doesn't sound right and she thought today's law if it is the F.B.I. They always have 2 people anymore. What do you think? She wants me to call the Police and ask if he was legit? I am not sure if he was real or to even worry about it?

I think he was doing a background check on the neighbor across the street as he said. With badge and the gov't car it sounds legitimate to me. They check on many job applicants.

The badge could have been a fake. But, probably not. I watch I.D. and am a true crime fanatic. I think it was smart that you did wonder about the guy.

My Mom calls me every day did you call the Police and investigate? R.O.T.F.L.!! I don't really feel like it at this time l.o.l.Just being lazy I guess {me today}
