Running Faucet

Ever had a family member ask if you need to use the bathroom before they take a shower or bath? Nice manners huh? Well, I usually don't need to and they just get on with it. Then about five or ten minutes after they are in there I feel that I need to use the bathroom. I think it has something to do with hearing the water run. Does this happen to you?

Well that certainty could be a possibility. I am more inclined to believe it's based more so in psychology and they way we are "wired" so to speak. For instance, when you tell a child not to do something, nine times out of ten they will get the urge to do so anyway. So knowing the bathroom is off limits may make you have the urge to go.. we are in so many ways our own worse enemies lol xx

Sure is. And, a little Murphy's Law thrown in for good measure.

It is rare around here too but, I can't help but hear it going on since I am just next door to the bathroom.

I'm glad that it's just me and my mom now. It was hard when my relatives were still here.

No, since we have three bathrooms in the house that's not an issue.
