So Proud To Live In My Community

I have been hearing about the problems one small farming community has been having for several weeks now. It is a town called Weiser. They have gotten a lot of snow and that accumulation on roofs have causes many buildings to collapse. One building in particular is a major grocery store that most of the town uses. Convenience stores and smaller venues have tried to help out but just wasn't enough. So, my capitol city here has sent them a truck trailer full of food. I just heard this on the evening news and found it so touching. My community is so giving and kind to others. I am really proud. I remember about a year ago when a Vietnamese store got burned out my community came to their aid. They got them help with free construction and materials to get their place rebuilt.

That's so generous of your community to help. I'm sure that's a great help to the victims.

Yes, indeed. I was beginning to wonder how they would survive.
