Dreaming Is Free (Okay, Eight Bucks to Park)

My brother and I were going to go to the annual sport, boat, RV, and vacation show tonight, but he just had his colonoscopy, so I'm not really sure he knows what zip code he's in right now. So, I went alone. As that Blondie song said, "Dreaming is free." Well, it did cost $8 to park, but the admission was free for veterans (thanks to the sponsors of the exhibition for that!). While the emphasis seemed to be on boats (and it has been every year I've gone), there were some nice RVs to look at. I'm just five years away from being able to retire, and a dream of mine is to get in an RV and go. Where? Hey, there are 12 states I haven't been to yet! I also think it'd be nice to travel around in search of a place slightly more conducive to an allergy sufferer. (I didn't have any problems when I lived in Daytona Beach, but then I never lived more than four blocks from the ocean and the only thing that grows in the sand are those annoying "sand spurs" that get stuck in your feet!) And, of course, my knees are telling me that it's going to be cold in the morning, so I'd also like to find a place to "suffer" through the winter in slightly warmer climates. Actually, I saw some good prices on some RVs. I can't believe the monthly payment was actually in my price range! We'll see if my dreaming becomes more than just a good Blondie song.
