I have been staying with family in their mobile home where when it gets hot in here the heat cannot be turned off or down because it will take a very long time for the home to get warm again.
I saw a show about Shipping Container homes and I said that I liked them. My family told me that they did not like them that the heat and air would not function properly in them.
Like they are in here?
Lol, they also commented that that would be like living in a tin can
, when they are living in a mobile home (tin can).

I like the idea of living in a container home. I just saw on TV that one guy came up with an idea to build a student housing using container homes because they're more economical.

That is a great idea.
Yep, they make apartment buildings and offices from them too as well as homes.

@dfollin There's a hotel here built from containers. It's actually pretty decent!

Container homes sound expensive to me. I live in a doublewide mobile home. Its really not that bad- 4 bedrooms, 2 baths. Its the largest home I've lived in. I probably like it cause its sitting on three acres not sitting crammed in a trailer park.

@dfollin Trailer parks at times do have high rent for sure plus the manager can suddenly charge more. We found a good deal on this little place and grabbed it cause I am more of a country person than a city person. You don't have many bedrooms for a double wide. Must be big bedrooms?

depending on your budget, they can be made just as warm as any home.a lot of people have wood stoves in them, which must be quite cosy.
