How do you like your coffee? Crisp?

That used to be an old commercial for a chocolate bar that had a coffee layer in it- darn good candy bar that is. But today I went to my daughter's house to pick something up and she gave me a cup of coffee- so nice of her- but yuck! it was the weakest coffee I had in a while.
I didn't let her know, of course, and just asked her what type of coffee it was- oh really? Blonde? Coffee. Well excuse me, but I like my coffee dark- haired I guess. Blonde just doesn't cut it. I smiled sweetly and drank and inside I vowed to try to go there later in the day next time- LOL!
I don' t know about you, but I like my coffee at least medium bold if not strong and never Blonde!!! That may work for Dolly Parton and Marilyn Monroe but not for coffee! I mean Blonde? Coffee? What next? How do you like your coffee?

@MarymargII Coffe Crisp used to be my husband's favorite chocolate bar.
Personally I like one that is made in New Brunswick by Gagnong's and is called "Pal-O-Mine".

I mostly drink lattes at Starbucks and local coffee houses, but the regular coffee I make at home is pretty strong stuff. I enjoy buying Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee--it's pretty expensive, but worth it--so I get a rich, bold flavor in my home-brewed coffee. I have also discovered a local breakfast place that sells a coffee with a hint of maple flavoring in it, I also like that coffee (it is a dark-roasted coffee).

@MarymargII Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is not a brand, but a specific region where coffee is grown.

We probably don't get that brand around here- but there are some darn good coffees and I like Starbucks coffees too!

Haha! How did I guess that? You should know that Canadians love their tea too- at least most of them- not quite like the British but close. It's the British influence over the years. Americans- not so much- they are predominantly coffee drinkers. Personally- I love both. :)

well... I quite like weak coffee... medium strength and the same with tea too... not too strong... and quite milky... but there is a spanish coffee that I like called a cortado... which is quite strong.. but not as strong as an expresso...
but that chocolate bar you mentioned sounded nice... chocolates with coffee flavored centers are my favorites ...

I've never heard of blonde coffee before and I sell the stuff where I work. I wonder if that was the type on the label and maybe she doesn't know how much to put in or something. I'd ask to see the canister or package the coffee came in to see what it does say and then ask how much she puts in. Maybe she's trying to save money or something too.
Not sure I've ever heard of Dolly Pardon before. I wasn't sure if you were joking but you spelled Marilyn's last name correctly.

Not weak and watery. When I go for my weekly visit to my father, I now stop at Timmies and grab a couple of coffees. Single Cream, no sugar for me...double cream for my father. Sometimes I want to ask if they can do a half a cream.....the machine is sometimes too generous with the white stuff.

I like my coffee a medium strength, but I put just a touch of sugar and a touch of milk in it. My husband however likes a bit of coffee with his milk lol.

Ha! Some Europeans do that- lots of milk and a touch of coffee- I could drink that 'cafe au lait' style if the coffee in it was strong!

My mom and I only use one and a half scoops of coffee. I rather have more pep than a heart attack from all that caffeine haha We don't put a lot of creamer in it either. Just a little poor. My grandma however...goes through a canister of coffee in a month and a container of creamer in a weak. I don't know how anyone can handle that.

My maximum coffee intake is 1-2 per day. For two cups of coffee in the maker--I put 4 coffee scoops in- but I don't use a lot of cream- just a little.

Never heard of blonde coffee either, haha. I don't like very very mild ones, but medium bold is okay for me.
