Strangest thing, yesterday I got my toe nails cut down because of them growing upward instead of out. I expected to wake up with sore toes at least. Not so.
When I got up today, I had the most awful headache! and I never get headaches. Since the doctors keep telling me Tylenol is not good for my liver and thats all I usually take for pain, my daughter keeps telling me to try Ibuprofen . I buy it but every time I read it causes stomach problems it scares me. so I give it away. I need to know if anyone here takes it and if so if you are also sure its safe. ?
I did have some pedialyte too just in case it is dehydration . anyone use that?

Ibuprofen upsets me too and I am not the only one. Its more bubbly and pasty tasting so they have put something in there that upsets some people.
Paracetamol is my best and works for me always.
The other one you mention I have not tried at all.
Glad you had your toes done they can be such a bothersome thing to keep in check.

I don“t take it very often. I have to be pretty bad to do so. But I think when they say that it probably means large amounts of it too many times.

@bunnybon7 .....I know how it is. They all taste yucky but I decided why spend money on another one when it will be just as bad.

I am so stubborn I try not to use anything at all! But when it's really, really bad, I do have to take an ibuprofen. I always try to eat something first before taking it. I think ibuprofen has it's own issues, but I used to take Tylenol too. I'm looking into reflexology and pressure points . . . I have a headache right now!!

@bunnybon7 Oh wow - daily? I know I get bad migraine-like headaches if I get too much MSG in my system. It's in a lot of processed meals . . . canned/frozen and restaurant food (particularly salty tasting fast foods). I can feel it - it's different from normal headaches. I think vanillin (cheap substitute for vanilla) gives the same bad reaction. Maybe look into what's in your diet too?

No, but you can make the pedialyte formula yourself. Think the details are on Youtube.

Taking over the counter things like ibuprofen can upset someones stomach and if you have things like stomach ulcers its not recommended that you take them especially not for long periods of time. I would say take one on a full stomach and see if it upsets your stomach. They have to test it and put down any potential side effects it doesn't mean it will happen and almost all medicines say that even things prescribed by the doctor. You can also try homeopathic medicines like Humphrey's Brand that might work better for you.
