Where is the rooster?

Every Chinese New Year, I and my sister would swap some tokens of the Chinese animals in the Chinese zodiac. This year is the year of the fire rooster. So the past 2 weeks, I and my sister went around in every department stores to buy the rooster. We saw in a department store this big gold-plated rooster but it was costly. We cannot afford it (we prefer the small ones only). So today, no rooster tokens for each of us. The picture I attached here are the animals in the Chinese zodiac but the rooster is not present. I hope to buy one for the house, and even for my sister. Do you have a rooster? We don't have...

If you can visit the trade fair here in Vigan City, you can find sculpted roosters from wood.

us too, there are many live roosters at the backyard, but what i am pointing out is a small rooster token like the ones in the picture, to signify the year of the fire rooster.

@ridingbet No, I don't want those. They gather dust. I am so lazy wiping out the dust from those. So, better not have them.

we usually find these tokens in Chinese stores, because it is in their culture to have these animals for the Chinese Zodiac signs.

@thelme55 hahaha! i am laughing out loud here. so, that is the sound of a "nagbibinatang tandang" ( a spring rooster or adolescent rooster) .maybe the neck of the rooster in your alarm is short that is why it is kikiriki. in the Ybanag dialect, there is a skin disease termed as "kiniriki" or scabies. i thought i read the kikiriki as kiniriki.

@ridingbet for me it is kikiriki.

We don't collect Chinese animals or figurines. Does it works for good luck? Search for other places and hope you find a rooster to complete your collection. They are cute
