Sleeping cap
The other week, Jess @Jessicalynnt asked if I’d ever made a sleeping cap, well until that moment I hadn’t although I had seen them around, but never thought of making one.
Well after looking at a few patterns, I decided I would make one to the pattern I like. As I was making it, it didn’t seem right but continued anyways. Once finished and sewn up, I tried it on and although it fitted, it was kinda tight. Part of the shaping wasn’t right, in the pattern they shaped to sharp. It would be ok for a young teens head but not for an adult.
Well, I decided I liked the way it was but needed to do some changes and did the shaping different, which turned out great and I’m pleased with how it’s turned out. The hat/cap is 30 inches in length and just right for the cold winter nights. Now I have a new product in my store thanks to Jess for mentioning it to me.
Do you wear a sleeping cap?

I don't wear one, but I would love to make one. Does it take you long to make this one?

That one is about 30 inches in length and took me about 6 or so hours, depending on how fast you can knit.

@kevin1877uk Cyprus is fine and a pleasant escape from the British winter.
As for being in the UK, I was home for 2 weeks between Tenerife and Cyprus. I have no idea where people get the absurd idea that I travel regular. I have only had 2 holidays all year.

@Asylum LOL yeah but were are still in January and not December lol.
It's been pouring with rain here all day long, much like Sunday, yesterday was still wet but it was heavy rain like today,
Enjoy your time there.

Yeah, looks like they are back in fashion again lol.
Yes didn't you know you have to wake one first lol
How is Cyprus? Are you ever in the UK? Maybe you just land at Manchester airport to get onto another flight.

@kevin1877uk I try! lol. Oh yeah, one I have seen get popular very recently here is the hats that allow a spot for you to pull your ponytail through the back. (and at different heights for low or high tails)

Are sleeping hats supposed to keep your head warm? Or how come its so long. I never used one :) I'm curious of the purpose. The color is lovely!

No kevin I don't wear a sleeping cap. I am sure there are those that do out there that would be interested in buying yours.
