I often smile when I'm embarassed, but I don't think people take it as I were happy.

I also fake a smile when nervous, but I don't force myself to smile, it looks fake but comes against my will. Otherwise, in rare cases, I fake a smile at silly jokes. And that's it, that's all.

If you smile your brain will think you're happy, it's like forcing yourself to laugh. You try at first and later you can't stop laughing. That's what some say, I'm not too sure myself. So it shouldn't be a negative attitude.

Nah! I can't pretend. I just step away if I am not into it. I find fakeness very exhausting, I think it takes lot of energy out of a person and I can't handle that.
