Is eating tube light and glasses easy?

United States

I've heard and watched many TV episodes where they show people eating glasses and tube lights as part of stunts.. is that all true? How come they are able to digest these .. won't they tear your tongue and tissues? I would like to know if it's really possible in this world to do such things.. unable to digest this .. What's your say on this ??

Only someone fully trained to perform this kind of stunt can do this. I would not suggest to anyone to try.

@LadyDuck - yes! Few people are there who would want to take unnecessary chance keeping their life in question..

@smileyhema Even if those stunts know what to do it's anyway a risk.

I remember a French cabaret artist who was eating bicycles, chains, TVs and computers. I read that he had eaten more than 9 tons of glass and metal during his career. I would not recommend to try.

@smileyhema His artist name was Mr Mangetout, Mr Eatall. Here a funny little TV report in English about him.

I've seen in on TV, and know they train for a long time. I don't think it's a wise thing to do and can't watch it without cringing.

Haha.. Even that's a wonder to me. They may be good at it, but why to take that risk..

The glass is not digested... it is just chewed to break it up until it is no longer sharp, and swallowed.
