WHICH ONE WILL IT BE?

Have you ever met someone who has split personalities ? - someone who among other sudden personality changes can tell you quite emphatically that you never gave them important information - which you did, just an hour ago. According to information I gathered from WebMd.com, Split personality syndrome or Dissociative Identity Disorder(DID) is characterized by "the presence of two or more distinct or split identities or personality states that continually have power over the person's behavior." I can say that I have met a few persons who I think suffer from that disorder, and it can be very unnerving not knowing which personality will surface at any given time.

I volunteered at a psychiatric hospital and met a few. Very unnerving.

Yes it is a sort of psychiatric disorder.

I have read that this condition does not really exist. It sounds more like this person either did not listen when you spoke of has an extremely poor memory.

@Kandae11 Most cases seem more like bipolar mood swings then actual split personality.

I have had first hand experience with it, so I know that it does exist. And it was certainly not a case of memory loss.

You can only hope that both personalities are nice to be with. Most have a good and a bad personality.

I had a friend who would change personalities in the middle of a sentence. The voice changed, her demeanor, the way she looked and acted, changed radically. She would contradict what she said a few minutes ago. She was very strange.

I think I would find this very difficult to deal with. There was a TV series once 'The Four States of Tarra' about a woman who had four very different personalities.
