Facebook good, Facebook bad?

In those days I had no account in Facebook. But I was shouted at rudely by my boss because of a post made by a dutch friend. Later, I did register myself at fb for keeping contact with some lost friends. Countless girls of India are now hooked to facebook. They make friends there, meet face to face with their so-called friends, fall in love, get married, get abused, get raped and get murdered!
Neither facebook nor any other social media site is bad in itself. The 'badness" is within the users and how it is used. What is your say?

I seem to spend a lot less time on Facebook since I got involved here. Perhaps if FB had some of the same rules it would be a better place.

I think you are right. I don't go on FB at all although my husband belongs to a couple of groups. I don't like it.
